I'm a freelance journalist and writer based between São Paulo and London. Food and travel are my topics, as well as culture and the arts. I've authored guide books for Louis Vuitton, Wallpaper* and Fodor's and contributed travel articles to BBC Travel, Monocle, Forbes, The Guardian, Airbnbmag, Sotheby's Magazine and a handful of airline magazines.

When it comes to food, I'm possibly at my happiest when reviewing restaurants, and I thank my parents for my high metabolism. I've reviewed hundreds of bars, cafés and restaurants for guide books, as well as Time Out London, National Geographer Traveller Food, Time Out São Paulo and Food and Travel. I've written about everything from non-cocoa chocolate to the origins of the Scotch egg for The Guardian and BBC Good Food.

Starting out as a producer for digital agencies, my trajectory has unintentionally taken me against the tide of technology, launching numerous websites on Channel4.com before heading offline to the world of print, as Deputy Editor of Time Out São Paulo, editing numerous supplements and mini-guides as well as 37 issues of the monthly magazine.

I've helped shape and style content for dozens of brands, bringing a rare mix of online and print expertise, as writer, copywriter and editor, together with a knack for effective content marketing.

In true freelance spirit, I'm always available for interesting and/or well-paid commissions. Contact me.

As a writer, she’s a natural, with a rigorous attention to syntax as well as to flow and style, and that makes her an outstanding editor too - skills she honed and finessed in the many thousands of words of copy she edited during her time at Time Out.
