I swapped London for São Paulo in 2008, and what was meant to be a two-year Brazilian adventure is now nearing ten. In that time, I've become something of an expert on Brazilian cuisine and culture, having travelled extensively throughout the country, as well as across South America. As a travel writer, I have contributed to guidebooks that include the 2015 edition of Fodor's Brazil, and authored the 2016 edition of Wallpaper*'s Rio de Janeiro guide, and most recently, the 2017 edition of Louis Vuitton's São Paulo guide. My specialist subject is undoubtedly São Paulo, where I worked for three years as Deputy Editor of Time Out São Paulo, but I regularly write about other destinations across this beguiling continent, for the likes of The Guardian, the BBC, Monocle, The Telegraph, Forbes, and a handful of in-flight magazines.
